Power Quality Group was recently engaged to provide support for a UPS supporting critical infrastructure at a major hotel chain in Queensland. It was identified that batteries had previously leaked and caused a fire. Whilst the damaged batteries had been removed by the hotels onsite technicians, the room required assessment and recommendations to restore operation and clean the room to prevent further failures. Power Quality Group also made recommendations around a Preventative Maintenance Contract for the facility, to assist mitigate issues with regular and proactive service visits.
